LCP - On the occasion of the 78th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 24, 2025, a delegation representing the Party Committee, the Government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and departments, agencies, and mass organizations of Lao Cai province, led by Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council offered incense in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the stadium rostrum and paid tribute to heroic martyrs at the Central Martyrs’ Cemetery, located in Yen Bai ward.

Before the revered spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party Committee, authorities, and people of all ethnic groups in Lao Cai province pledged to continuously study and follow His noble ideology, morality, and style. They reaffirmed their determination to successfully fulfill the province’s socio-economic development goals and tasks, ensure national defense and security, and build an increasingly prosperous Lao Cai where people of all ethnic groups enjoy a warm, happy life.
At the same time, they reaffirmed that caring for those with meritorious service to the nation remains a long-term, regular, and important political task of the entire political system and society, ensuring that every family of martyrs, war invalids, and contributors to the revolution enjoys well-being, happiness, and peace. They are also committed to ensuring that the descendants of those who rendered service to the nation are fully supported to thrive and carry forward the province’s proud revolutionary tradition.
At the Central Martyrs’ Cemetery of the province, the delegation laid a wreath bearing the words: “The Party Committee - People’s Council - People’s Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai Province respectfully pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people”.

On the occasion of the 78th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day in 2025, Lao Cai province has carried out various meaningful gratitude activities. These include: visiting and presenting over 10,000 gifts to people with meritorious service to the revolution; organizing provincial delegations to visit and offer gifts to policy beneficiaries in localities; completing the construction of more than 500 houses for people with meritorious service; and organizing delegations to pay tribute at national martyrs’ cemeteries such as the Truong Son National Martyrs’ Cemetery in Quang Tri province, the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs’ Cemetery in Ha Giang province, and the Dien Bien Provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery…
