The ceremony was attended by provincial leaders, representatives of departments and agencies, the investor, and construction units.

The project covers a total area of 24,668.7 m², designed to accommodate around 1,630 residents. It includes six 7-storey buildings with 660 apartments (average size 70 m², featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 loggias). The complex will be fully equipped with elevators, spacious corridors, parking areas, internal roads, and landscaped green spaces. Residents will also have access to the complete range of amenities available at Yen Bai Riverside.

Previously launched in March 2024, the Yen Bai Riverside project spans 23.85 hectares and has already completed technical infrastructure and landscaping. It integrates diverse community facilities such as Hoa Ban Lake Park, central square, schools, cultural house, sports and recreation areas, children’s playgrounds, central market, and social housing offering residents a modern and comprehensive living environment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People’s Committee, emphasized that in recent years the province has always regarded the development of social housing as a key political task to ensure social welfare and improve people’s living standards, particularly for workers and low-income earners.

He noted that as Lao Cai is currently restructuring and merging administrative units, many officials and civil servants have had to relocate and commute long distances for work. Therefore, the Binh Minh Tay Bac Social Housing Project carries practical significance in providing stable and convenient accommodation, enabling public employees to feel secure in their work and remain committed to their agencies and the locality.

Mr. Tran Huy Tuan stated that in the coming time the province will continue to improve the investment environment, review land resources, and simplify administrative procedures to encourage businesses to invest in social housing. These efforts aim to meet the urgent housing needs of local people, ensure accommodation for officials and civil servants affected by administrative unit mergers, and contribute to achieving the Prime Minister’s target of one million social housing units nationwide.

Mr. Tuan urged the investor and construction units to work with the highest focus and determination to ensure the project’s progress, quality, technical standards, labor safety, and architectural landscape. He also assigned provincial departments, agencies, and local authorities to provide maximum support, closely coordinate, and promptly address any obstacles to ensure the project is implemented effectively and on schedule.
