LCP - The People's Committee of Sa Pa ward is actively preparing for Sa Pa Autumn Festival 2025, which is scheduled to take place from August to October 2025. The festival will feature a vibrant series of cultural, sports, and tourism activities rich in the unique identity of the Northwest highlands.

LCP - On August 4, 2025, the Canadian International School - Lao Cai (CIS Lao Cai) and Ultra Education (United Kingdom) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to implement a business and entrepreneurship education program for students from grades 1 to 12. This marks the first time a structured, internationalized entrepreneurship education model has been introduced at a general education school in Vietnam.

LCP - On August 2, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee held a conference to evaluate the results of socio-economic development tasks in July and the first 7 months of the year; assess the implementation of the two-tier local government model after one month of operation; and deploy tasks for August 2025.

LCP - On July 30, 2025, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, hosted a courtesy meeting with the delegation from Pacific Construction Group Co., Ltd. (China), led by Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa, Founder of Pacific Construction Group and Chairman of the Trang Nghiem Research Institute, during their visit and working session in Lao Cai Province.

LCP - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has recently issued Decision No. 2194/QĐ-BVHTTDL and Decision No. 2195/QĐ-BVHTTDL dated June 27, 2025, officially announcing the recognition of two intangible cultural heritages of Lao Cai province as National Intangible Cultural Heritages.

LCP - On the occasion of the 78th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 24, 2025, a delegation representing the Party Committee, the Government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and departments, agencies, and mass organizations of Lao Cai province, led by Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council offered incense in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the stadium rostrum and paid tribute to heroic martyrs at the Central Martyrs’ Cemetery, located in Yen Bai ward.

LCP - On July 21, 2025, a working delegation from the Ministry of Construction, led by Mr. Tran Hong Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Construction, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for National Key Projects and Important Projects in the Railway Sector, conducted a field inspection of the Lao Cai - Ha Noi - Hai Phong railway project in Lao Cai Province.
