The Province of Lao Cai: Investing more than 9800 billions to build up new village

According to the Command Committee of the program “Building up new rural provinces” period of 2011-2015, Lao Cai province had mobilized and utilized 9860 billions of investment resources to implement the national program to build up new rural areas locality.

Accordingly, the budget fund of 1.956 billion VND supported by Government from the national program directly to build up new rural areas; this budget fund is also from 6.395 billion VND of other programs and projects (the Government budget), 220 billion VND of credit loans, 642 million VND of capital from enterprises, the rest is from residents of the province estimated over 827 billion VND, including labor, land donations, cash and constructing materials.
Together with the mobilization and utilization of resources for effective investment to the Program “Building up new rural areas” in the province, Lao Cai province’s Committee has done well of direction, administration, and management the Program “Together we build new rural areas”. To date, Lao Cai province has 20/144 villages clarified as new rural areas. By the end of 2020, the province will have 50 more new rural areas.
