Addition of 05 villages particularly difficult into the province of Lao Cai
Ethnic Committee has signed Decision No. 601/QD-UBDT to acknowledge 05 additional villages with special difficulties in the province of Lao Cai.
The local gorverment agencies and committees make an effort to help children living in highland and moutaineous areas to go to school.
These villages include: Say San Phin village, Thao Chu Phin commune, Si Ma Cai district; Phin Giang C village, Coc Sam village, Coc Ly commune, Bac Ha district, Ban Giang village belonging to Pa Cheo commune, Lao Chai III belonging to Y Ty commune, and Bat Xat district. So the above Decision increases the total villages with special difficulties from 1,098 to 1,103 rural villages in Lao Cai province.
The addition of 05 villages into group with special difficulties is proceeded since: 03 villages of them were splitted after identified as villages with special difficulties; 02 villages were in low standard in rural infrastructure, limited production in these villages has not met prescribed criteria, life of residents is full of difficulties, the rate of poor households is high; these conditions are under the Decision No. 30/2012/ QD-TTG dated 18/07/2012 signed by Viet Nam Prime Minister about regulations of qualifying village with special difficulties.Ngo Huu Tuong
