LCP - On the afternoon of January 3, Mr. Hoang Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, paid a visit and held a working session with the Party Committee of Mu Cang Chai commune to review socio-economic development, Party building, and the political system in the locality. Leaders of several provincial departments and agencies also attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the Standing Board of the Mu Cang Chai Commune Party Committee reported on the implementation of key socio-economic targets in 2025, including poverty reduction, new rural development, and tourism development associated with ethnic cultural identity. By the end of 2025, 13 out of 21 major targets exceeded the plan, while 4 targets were achieved. Total food output reached 7,603 tons; livestock totaled 21,500 heads; state budget revenue was nearly VND29 billion; the multidimensional poverty rate decreased by 6.37%; and health insurance coverage reached 99.98%.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Hoang Giang highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Mu Cang Chai commune. He emphasized the need to strengthen Party building, improve the quality of grassroots cadres, effectively implement resolutions of the Central and Provincial Party Committees, and better exploit the potential for ecological and community-based tourism. He also stressed the importance of restructuring agricultural production, ensuring social welfare, and improving the living standards of the people, especially ethnic minority communities.

The working session provided an important basis for Mu Cang Chai commune to translate provincial guidance into concrete tasks and solutions, contributing to local socio-economic development in 2026 and the following years.

On the occasion of the visit and working session, the commune’s leaders respectfully presented Mr. Hoang Giang with a khen (traditional panpipe) and a traditional costume of the Mong ethnic group.
