Mr. Duong Quoc Huy, Lao Cai Provincial Party Secretary works with the Provincial Party Committee Office
LCP - On March 5, Mr. Duong Quoc Huy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, held a working session with the Provincial Party Committee Office to review its operations and discuss orientations for advisory and administrative support tasks in the coming period.
Also attending the meeting was Mr. Hoang Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
In recent years, amid the reorganization of the administrative apparatus and the operation of the two-tier local government model, the workload and pressure on the Provincial Party Committee Office have continued to increase, with higher requirements for both progress and quality. Despite these challenges, the Office has made efforts to successfully fulfill its assigned tasks, increasingly meeting the leadership and direction requirements of the Provincial Party Committee.

By the end of 2025, the Office had completed all 19 major task groups under the 2025 work program and more than 1,600 specific tasks assigned by the Standing Committee and the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, along with other tasks arising from its functions and responsibilities.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Hoang Giang acknowledged the efforts and achievements of officials and staff of the Provincial Party Committee Office. He noted that the Office has maintained effective coordination with relevant agencies and sectors, while its staff have demonstrated high professional qualifications and professionalism in advisory and administrative support work.
He requested that the Office continue to promote its achievements, further enhance initiative in information exchange and coordination, and provide accurate and timely advice so that the Office can effectively serve as the “eyes and ears” of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Duong Quoc Huy acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Provincial Party Committee Office. He stressed that in the new development stage, the Office must continue to renew its thinking, improve working methods and enhance the quality of advisory work.
He requested the Office to clearly promote its coordinating role to ensure tasks assigned by the Standing Committee and the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee are implemented smoothly and on schedule. At the same time, the Office should closely follow leadership directions and practical developments in order to provide timely advice in organizing and managing work across sectors.
The Provincial Party Secretary also emphasized the need to standardize working procedures, build a team characterized by discipline, responsibility, professionalism and modernity, promote the strengths of each staff member, and pay greater attention to digital transformation tasks. The Office should also strengthen coordination with other agencies and units in performing its duties.
Regarding conclusion notices issued by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Office was requested to closely monitor and urge relevant agencies, sectors and localities to ensure effective and timely implementation, and promptly report results to the Standing Committee for further direction.
At the meeting, the Provincial Party Secretary also agreed with the proposals and recommendations of the Provincial Party Committee Office and provided guidance on several issues, including citizen reception and the addition of personnel knowledgeable in digital transformation.
