The “Lung Linh Vong Xoe” Festival 2026 is expected to be held during the holiday marking Reunification Day (April 30). The event aims to celebrate major national holidays while honoring and promoting the value of the Thai Xoe Dance.

According to the 2026 cultural and tourism activity plan, the People’s Committees of Nghia Lo, Trung Tam, Cau Thia wards, and Lien Son commune will coordinate to organize the festival. It is scheduled to take place over three days, from April 28 to April 30, 2026, at Golden Field Square (Tong Pong, Nghia Lo ward).

The event is expected to feature eight Xoe dance teams from various localities, with the participation of numerous artisans and amateur performers. Each team will present traditional Xoe dances combined with creative elements, highlighting the unique cultural identity of the Thai ethnic community in Muong Lo.

More than just an artistic competition, the festival provides an opportunity for community bonding within a vibrant cultural space. Colorful Xoe dance circles are expected to attract a large number of residents and tourists to join and experience.

The festival is organized to celebrate major national holidays, while continuing efforts to preserve and promote the values of the UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage. It also contributes to creating a joyful atmosphere and boosting tourism in the locality during the holiday period.
