LCP - Topas Ecolodge resort hotel in Ban Ho commune, Lao Cai province, is one of five Vietnamese representatives awarded the ASEAN Green Hotel Award 2026 at the Southeast Asia Tourism Forum - ATF 2026.

The resort has completely eliminated single-use plastics, replacing them with environmentally friendly products such as biodegradable rice flour bags, bamboo straws, and bottled water.

In particular, Topas Ecolodge has invested in an on-site glass crushing system to recycle bottles into building materials, thereby minimizing waste and utilizing readily available resources. Organic waste and leftover food are sorted and used as fertilizer or animal feed for surrounding households, contributing to a closed-loop waste management system.
Given the challenging terrain of the highlands, Topas Ecolodge has implemented a European-standard Hydroloop system to ensure water safety. Analysis results from September 2025 showed that all indicators met the QCVN 01-1:2024/BYT standards of the Ministry of Health . Furthermore, the resort actively utilizes solar energy in its operations, contributing to reduced carbon emissions and limiting reliance on traditional energy sources. These practical solutions clearly demonstrate Topas Ecolodge's commitment to efficient and responsible resource utilization.
