Lao Cai province achieves ranks 21st out of 34 provinces and cities in PAR index
LCP - On the afternoon of May 11, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced the 2025 Public Administration Reform Index (PAR INDEX 2025) results for ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities across the country.
This year marks the 14th consecutive year that the Ministry of Home Affairs has conducted the assessment and determination of the Public Administration Reform (PAR) Index for provinces and centrally-run cities across Vietnam.
In 2025, the PAR Index of provinces and cities continued its upward trend, with the national average reaching 89.96%, an increase of 1.59 percentage points compared to 2024 (88.37%) and the highest level ever recorded.
According to the assessment results, Hai Phong City ranked first nationwide in the 2025 PAR Index with a score of 95.37%.
Lao Cai Province achieved 89.67%, ranking 21st among the 34 provinces and centrally-run cities. Among the eight component indices assessed, Lao Cai recorded its most impressive performance in administrative procedure reform, scoring 99.66%.
