Under Decision No. 556/QĐ-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the election result of Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term and Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial People’s Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term, to continue serving as Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial People’s Committee for the 2026 - 2031 term.

Under Decision No. 557/QĐ-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the election results for the Vice Chairpersons of the Lao Cai Provincial People’s Committee for the 2026 - 2031 term, including:

1. Mr. Ngo Hanh Phuc - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee (2025 - 2030 term), Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (2021 - 2026 term);

2. Mr. Giang Quoc Hưng - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee (2025 - 2030 term), Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs;

3. Mr. Phan Trung Ba - Member of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Executive Committee (2025 - 2030 term), Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (2021 - 2026 term);

4. Mr. Nguyen Thành Sinh - Member of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Executive Committee (2025 - 2030 term), Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (2021 - 2026 term);

5. Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hạnh - Member of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Executive Committee (2025 - 2030 term), Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee (2021 - 2026 term).

Previously, on March 27, at the first session of the 17th Lao Cai Provincial People’s Council, the Chairman and Vice Chairpersons of the Provincial People’s Committee for the 2026 - 2031 term were elected.
