Sa Pa welcomes a new check-in spot at Fansipan peak
LCP - At the Sun World Fansipan Legend tourism complex, the international coffee brand Starbucks has officially opened one of the highest-located stores in Asia at the “Cloud Yard” area near the peak of Fansipan - the 3,143-meter mountain known as the “Roof of Indochina.”
Situated at an altitude of approximately 3,063 meters above sea level, the store offers visitors a unique coffee experience amid breathtaking mountain scenery and a vast sea of clouds.
On March 14, Starbucks officially launched this new branch at Sun World Fansipan Legend, marking it as one of the highest Starbucks locations in Asia.

The store’s design harmonizes with the natural landscape of Vietnam’s Northwest mountains, incorporating elements inspired by local culture. This creates an appealing stop for travelers exploring Fansipan. Here, visitors can enjoy their coffee while taking in panoramic views of the majestic Hoang Lien Son Range.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Lao Cai Tourism Association, leaders of Sa Pa Ward People’s Committee, along with local tourism businesses and stakeholders.

The addition of this new stop enhances the diversity of tourism products and experiences in Sa Pa, making it an attractive check-in destination for visitors. It also serves as a new highlight in promoting Sa Pa as a leading tourism destination in Vietnam’s Northwest region.
