The race aims to develop a unique sports tourism product while promoting Sa Pa as a dynamic, friendly, and culturally rich destination for domestic and international visitors. Participants will have the chance to enjoy spectacular mountain scenery and experience the unique culture of the Northwest highlands.

The competition is open to both Vietnamese and foreign participants legally living, working, or traveling in Vietnam. Runners will compete in three distances: 9km, 17km, and 21km for both men and women. All race routes will start and finish at Cat Cat Tourist Area.

The races will start at 6:00 AM on May 17, followed by the opening ceremony at 7:00 AM and the award ceremony at 10:30 AM.

All finishers will receive commemorative medals. Prize money for winners reaches up to VND 9 million for the 21km category, along with trophies, gifts, and sponsor rewards for top-ranked athletes.
